News
First thank you to everyone who offered condolences on my family's recent loss.
The funeral is today - my thoughts and prayers are with them.

Next I have great news, I lost another 8 lbs! Putting me within 11 lbs of being under the 300 lb mark for the first time in well over a decade.

Health news under the

I went to the gyno yesterday, apart from being an awful woman who spazzed out when she saw the pent hanging around my neck, (all of a sudden got into a bg hurry to get me out of there, and was rougher then she needed to be with the exam because of it.), I knew the office was very Christan so it didn't come as too great a shock.

Anyway she diagnosed me with Bacterial Vaganosis and gave me some medicine, we'll see what that does to help repair my body.

I still have to have the colonoscopy, but for some reason my doctor is dragging his feet setting up the appointment.

Then we'll see if I need to have my bladder checked.

After that I'm finally going to have to do something about this tooth I've been letting rot for the last ten years...

Yep, the next few months are going to be tons of fun ;)

Good for you! I'm so glad you got through the gyn exam but I'm sorry it wasn't a pleasant experience. Finding medical providers you are comfortable with could go a long way toward improving your overall health. Once you get through this crisis you should put some energy into tracking down people who can provide the care without the bad attitude. They're out there, the trick is to find them.

My heart goes out to you on the dental issue. I've had a phobia about dentists since I was a kid. I finally figured out why. My body just doesn't react properly to the stuff they use to numb the pain. It just doesn't work for me at all. I finally found a dentist that believed me when I told him it hurt instead of just arguing with me about it. Finding the right provider can make all the difference in the world, and I think jumping through the hoops to connect with them is worth every bit of energy you expend on it. With a disease like Diabetes, it might even save your life someday.

Chris steps off soapbox.

And you go with the weight loss! Those baby steps add up, huh?

Finding medical providers that are worth a damn and that I can trust on passport (at least around here) requires a minor miracle.
So I don't know what to do on that front, I finally found one then two months in he decides he's not seeing passport patients anymore... so as of June I have to get a new doctor.

My problems with the dentist fall into the "You want me to just sit in that chair and let them do what to me?!" It feels unnatural and goes against every instinct. If I can find someone to knock me out I'll be fine.

Thanks!
LOL hey, but if you want to help me manifest a miracle I'm all for it.
A good doctor in this area that takes my insurance is going to need a small miracle.
