Lemon Cream, Poundcake Trifle

The Pound Cake:

1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
2 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup superfine or castor sugar (You can get this by running table sugar in the food processor for a couple of minutes.)
4 large eggs, room temperature
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

Pre-heat to 350

Put the butter into the food processor and spin
Add sugar and spin
Add each egg one at a time - spinning between each
Add Vanilla - Spin
Add Flour 1/2 cup at a time spining between each

The Lemon Cream

1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp lemon extract

Mix in food processor 1 min

The Chocolate Chips: Buy Some

I layered the pound cake, then the Cream then the Chocolate Chips...
Then did it one more time finishing with a sprinkle of the Chocolate chips on top.

D was a very happy girl. =)
